The Direct Entry Captain is responsible for safely operating Company aircraftaccording to regulations and established policies and procedures, accepting responsibility forthe safety of all crewmembers, passengers, and or cargo on board when the aircraft doors areclosed.
The Captain is accountable to the Chief Pilot for the operation of each flight under theircommand and works diligently to complete each operation safely and efficiently.
This position isexpected to uphold safety while performing flight crew duties and fulfilling the responsibilitiesexpected of an Employee.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
The successful candidate has excellent customer service skills, team member qualities, andleadership competencies, in addition to the required certifications and experience the positionrequires.
Other qualifications include : Must possess all current ratings to operate commercial aircraft for a Part 121 operation,including an Airline Transport Pilot certificate.
Must have a total of 2500 hours in a fixed-wing aircraft, of which 1000 hours will bemulti-engine turbine flight time, and 1000 hours total flight time will be air carrierexperience.
Must have at least 1000 hours of air carrier experience as defined by FAR 121.436.Must have a valid First-Class Medical.Must not have an FAA Certificate Action or Administrative Action record within theprior 24 months.
Must have a valid Passport and the ability to travel internationally without restrictions,including to Canada.Must be fluent in English and communicate professionally verbally and in writing.
Must be able to fulfill the physical requirements of the position, which require the abilityto lift and maneuver 20 lbs. regularly and may involve lifting and maneuvering up to 65 lbs.
Must be able to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays.Must be able to work in all types of weather, including extreme temperatures.
Must have a strong safety awareness and the ability to adhere to Safety ManagementSystems (SMS); risk assessment and mitigation knowledge are highly desired.
