ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
● Assist Inspectors while they inspect, test, and maintain fire protection systems in accordance with NFPA codes
● Perform testing and maintenance under direct supervision of an Inspection/Service Technician.
● Developing knowledge of life safety and NFPA codes, standard fire alarm systems, fire suppression systems and their devices, critical components and operations.
● Inspect, install and repair of kitchen fire suppression systems (hoods) from various manufacturers.
● servicing, repairing and maintaining the portable fire equipment and emergency exit lighting systems
● Find and correct inspection deficiencies and service required to correct found deficiencies.
