The Town of Webster is now accepting applications for a group fitness instructor with experience leading a variety of class formats (cardio, strength, HIIT, bootcamp, etc.). Qualified candidates must be energetic, motivating and must be able to instruct and assess client mobility/technique restrictions and make appropriate modifications. Must be available weekday mornings (9am-Noon) and afternoons (3-6pm).

Typical Duties, including but not limited to:

• Organize and instruct a variety of cardio, strength, and high intensity interval training classes and make necessary instructional modifications based on group participants.
• Responsible for set up, take down, and sanitizing of all equipment

Preferred Qualifications:

• A minimum of 1-3 years instructing group based fitness classes.
• Responsible, reliable team player with great communication and customer service skills.
• Enthusiastic, motivational instructor with a focus on participant development and retention.
• Certification through a nationally recognized organization (NSCA, ACSM, NASM, ACE)
• Certified in first aid/CPR/AED

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be at least 16 years of age
• Must be available weekday mornings (9am-Noon) and afternoons (3-6pm).
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
