ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Carries out inventory adjustments for quantity variances/item cost corrections.
• Works with other members of Supply Chain area to assign proper chart fields.
• Administers the reconciliation process for key alliance accounts.
• Investigates of inventory variances and billing issues.
• Performs monthly inventory analysis relating to inventory levels, slow moving inventory and turns.
• Reviews inventory transactions to determine if amounts are accurately recorded and resolves any needed changes.
• Analyze and support Supply Chain Departments' budgets. 
• Supports return material process relating to field operations.
• Acts as department liaison for Financial and Internal/External Audit requests.
• Designs, develops and implements efficient data gathering and reporting methods and procedures with the Supply Chain area.
• May recommend procedural changes to improve efficiency in operations.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or relevant, equivalent experience and/or education.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in purchasing, materials planning, inventory control or related function. 
• Experience with material logistics, inventory control techniques and life cycle cost analysis.
• Utility experience preferred.
• Possesses sound analytical, problem-solving and documentation skills. 
• Ability to work in a team environment.   
• Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills, including the ability to convey complex information clearly, concisely and effectively to individuals at all levels in the organization and with external auditors.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Outlook.
