The Fixture Builder ensures jigs function appropriately with complex angles or contours. Assembles a variety of standard and non-standard major jigs, fixtures and related tooling. Being a Fixture Builder designs and creates jig and fixture details and holding devices. Responsible for determining methods and sequence of operations and scheduling work to be performed from tool design drawings. In addition, Fixture Builder may be required to verify accuracy and quality in accordance with established control procedures. Requires a high school diploma in a related area with certification in the field. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Working as a Fixture Builder typically requires 3-5 years of related experience. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. Are you a carpenter who is tired of working outside in the elements? Then come on in and work inside as our crate builder! This position is responsible for building wooden crates to support the shipping of our product, as well as the accompanying packaging. This candidate must have at least 6 months to a year of experience with carpentry. Shipping/forklift experience is a plus. Must be able to use a pneumatic nail gun, read tape measurements, and build wooden crates. Must be familiar with working in a manufacturing/workshop environment. Pay range is $20.00 - $ 22.00 per hour. This position is a full time position with benefits.
