The Fixture Builder ensures jigs function appropriately with complex angles or contours. Assembles a variety of standard and non-standard major jigs, fixtures and related tooling. Being a Fixture Builder designs and creates jig and fixture details and holding devices. Responsible for determining methods and sequence of operations and scheduling work to be performed from tool design drawings. In addition, Fixture Builder may be required to verify accuracy and quality in accordance with established control procedures. Requires a high school diploma in a related area with certification in the field. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Mental Health Skill Building Workers (QMHP-A)
Position Description:
Under the supervision of the clinical director, the MHS Workers will provide direct MHS services that implement a service plan, which provides structure, support, and training and support to enable individuals with significant psychiatric functional limitations to achieve and maintain community stability and independence in the most appropriate, least restrictive environment. MHS may be provided in any setting in which the individual's needs may be addressed, skills training applied, and recovery experienced.
Qualifications: Completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in social work, sociology, psychology, or other DMAS approved human service field and with at least one year of clinical experience providing direct services (developing, conducting, and approving assessments and individual service plans or treatment plans) to persons with a diagnosis of mental illness. A valid Virginia Driver’s License is also required for employment. Must be registered with the Department of Virginia Board of Counseling as a QMHP-A and provide copy of registration in compliance with changes that went into effect (January 1,2018). The MHS Workers must meet the requirement for a QMHP-A and fall under one of the following categories:
"Qualified Mental Health Professional-Adult (QMHP-A)" means a person in the human services field who is trained and experienced in providing psychiatric or mental health services to individuals who have a mental illness; including:
(i) A doctor of medicine or osteopathy licensed in Virginia;
(ii) A doctor of medicine or osteopathy, specializing in psychiatry and licensed in Virginia;
(iii) An individual with a master's degree in psychology from an accredited college or university with at least one year of clinical experience;
(iv) A social worker: an individual with at least a bachelor's degree in human services or related field (social work, psychology, psychiatric rehabilitation, sociology, counseling, vocational rehabilitation, human services counseling or other degree deemed equivalent to those described) from an accredited college and with at least one year of clinical experience providing direct services to individuals with a diagnosis of mental illness;
(v) A person with at least a bachelor's degree from an accredited college in an unrelated field that includes at least 15 semester credits (or equivalent) in a human services field and who has at least three years of clinical experience;
(vi) A Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Provider (CPRP) registered with the United States Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association (USPRA); (vii) a registered nurse licensed in Virginia with at least one year of clinical experience; or
(viii) Any other licensed mental health professional.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Attend and participate in new employee orientation, in-service training, conferences as scheduled and performs other duties as assigned. Receive 40 hours of training per year, maintain and keep current all first aid and CPR training requirements. I understand that by taking this position I am required to be drug free and will not be intoxicated while at work. I understand that I may be drug tested at anytime.
