Pay:
This is an exempt/salary position. The pay range is $60000- $70000. Pay may vary depending on your location, skills, and experience.
Location/Travel Requirements:
This position will work out of our office in Rapid City, SD.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Fleet Administrator assist the Shop/Fleet team with day-to-day operations. This can include processing permits, filing necessary documents, assisting mechanics, and other duties as assigned. This position reports directly to the Fleet Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Assists shop and fleet manager with daily duties and tasks
- Assisting with Permits
- Data entry into the E360 Fleet Software
- Assist with Work orders for mechanics
- Filing
- Recordkeeping
- Assists with titles and licensing of the fleet
- Works with fleet manager to secure equipment rentals
- Coordinate timely equipment rental returns with fleet manager
- Establish and maintain interpersonal relationships with co-workers
- Customer and personal service
- Create, maintain, and enter information into databases.
- Use computers for various applications, such as database management or word processing.
- Operate office equipment, such as copiers, or phone systems
- Assists with vendor and customer relations
- Assist with dispatching drivers
- Checking in and out Units (Equipment Transfers Forms)
- Other Duties as needed
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Must wear personnel protective equipment (i.e. Hard hats, safety glasses, safety harnesses as required) and respirators when required.
- Ability to work 9 hours per day, 7:00 am to 4:30 pm
- This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
- This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 40-50 lbs
- The worker is subject to both environmental conditions. Activities occur inside and outside. (Ability to handle outside weather conditions when needed)
- The worker is sometimes subject to noise. There is sufficient noise to cause the worker to shout in order to be heard above ambient noise level.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS - (THE EMPLOYEE SHOULD BE ABLE TO PERFORM THE ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS WITH OR WITHOUT REASONABLE ACCOMODATIONS:
- Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.

- The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication parts at distances close to the eyes.

- High School Diploma or GED
- 1-2 years of experience in fleet, parts, tools, and/or mechanic shop or relevant experience

LICENSES:
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to maintain a DOT medical Card
