Fleet Administrator assists in administrating and coordinating motor vehicle fleet operations. Understands OSHA, DOT, fleet-specific regulations, licensing, registration, and reporting requirements. Being a Fleet Administrator prepares and maintains accurate records of vehicles, insurance, and required regulatory filings and reporting. Coordinates repairs and preventative maintenance scheduling that support fleet vehicle availability requirements. Additionally, Fleet Administrator may assist with safety training and communication programs. May require an associate degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Fleet Administrator works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. One position available which can be filled as an Associate Fleet Technician or Fleet Technician. This position is located in Rock Springs, WY.
Associate Fleet Technician:
This is the entry level position in the Fleet Technician job series. The incumbent is responsible for maintaining the garage and keeping it clean and orderly, as well as assisting in servicing automotive electrical, mechanical, and fuel systems.
Fleet Technician:
This is the second level position in the Fleet Technician job series. Distinguished from Associate Fleet Technician by exercising independent judgment and decision-making in planning, organizing and conducting work assignments. The incumbent is responsible for maintaining the garage and keeping it clean and orderly, as well as servicing automotive electrical, mechanical, fuel, and compressed natural gas (CNG) systems.
High School Diploma or GED is required.
Must possess, or acquire within a reasonable timeframe, a commercial driver's license, assistance is available by Dominion Energy to acquire a CDL.
May require travel in on- and off-road conditions.
Exposure to loud noises and fumes
Stooping, bending, squatting, lifting, crawling, climbing, reaching
May require long periods of sitting or standing
May be required to work night, weekend, and holiday call out
