Bell Broussard Panel Shop Team
Bring your experience and eagerness to learn and become a part of the Bell Broussard Panel Shop team. In this position you will provide critical warehouse, shipping, and inventory support to the Panel Shop facility, including assessment and documentation of incoming and outgoing, and in-stock materials and supplies. This position is an integral part of the team, working closely with various internal and external parties to ensure smooth shipping, receiving, and warehousing operations. You’ll be able to showcase your current skills and teamwork abilities, while gaining valuable experience in warehousing operations.
What you’ll be doing as a Warehouse Team member
- Fill, wrap, pack, protect, consolidate, and arrange shipments according to instructions.
- Appropriately label item/container to be stored/shipped with appropriate identification.
- Assist Customer Support Dept with creating shipping labels and record retention procedures.
- Receive goods, verify items against the record of shipment, and inspect condition.
- Assist with communicating incoming shipment discrepancies to vendors and customers.
- Record received and shipped items according to established procedures.
- Safely operate forklift and other warehouse equipment to assist with moving product, shop tools, and equipment.
- Load and unload freight trucks.
- Ensure that goods are stored correctly and safely to optimize warehouse space.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts.
- Support Production Dept with consumables restock, tool maintenance, EHS daily checks.
- Runner duties as needed.
- Demonstrate safe work habits to include wearing required PPE.
- Assist with discovery, root cause analysis, correction, and tracking on Logistics processes as required.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with regulatory requirements, production standards, and Textron Business Conduct guidelines.
- Provide reports and status updates to manager and interested parties as required.
- Other duties as assigned.

What You Need To Be Successful
- 3 years of experience related to job duties, including forklift experience
- High School Diploma or GED
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 lbs., and to team lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for extended periods during the entire duration of shift.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for handling small components and tools.
- Flexibility to bend, stoop, and crouch as required for tasks.
- Good vision, including the ability to focus on small details and identify defects.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding progress and potential issues.
- Willingness to follow instructions and ask for clarification when needed.
- Ability to operate computer, to include keyboard, mouse, and software related to job duties.
- Ability to work in environment with exposure to various chemicals, dust and odors, and various machine heat cycles.
- Ability to wear all required PPE specific to job duties.
