Expected pay for this position is $22.90 - $26.94/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Supervisor of Flight Communications oversees Flight Communications Specialists 24/7 within the Flight Communications department including initiating flight requests for transport of patients from accident sites to hospitals and hospital to hospital referrals, tracking aircraft flight plans, supporting the needs of flight crews during transport of patients, and flight tracking and monitoring of OSF aircraft in flight. The Supervisor of Flight Communications audits calls requesting Life Flight and dispatching of flight crews to ensure established procedures are followed, and works as a Flight Communications Specialist on an as needed basis to assist in staffing.
