Hours: Primarily Monday through Friday daytime hours
Wage: $50,000 to $55,000
General Description of the Position: Provide assistance and support to Black Hills Works in regards to onboarding new employees, providing ongoing professional development and general assistance to people supported, their staff support and general assistance to agency departments.
Qualifications

Minimum of two years direct experience in working with people with developmental disabilities, and/or staff training, and/or program development.

Preferred BS or BA from a 4-year accredited college or university.

Confidence in public speaking

Strong interpersonal and communication skills; good analysis and problem solving skills in the areas of curriculum development systems and program design; good teaching skills with the ability to write or condense teaching and training information into quick and effective learning formats.

Requires skills necessary to assess learning styles and to design and utilize a variety of teaching/training methods.
Essential Functions:

Provide consultative services on individual situations. Including assessment, training, supports, data collection and coaching.

Coach and support staff members in implementing systems and reporting.

Provide coverage needs for specific leadership positions.

Develop and implement training materials to our workforce and people we support.

Provide consult or hands-on assistance to promote and teach for further independence.

Provide assistance where needed in ensuring that agency and state regulations are met.

Use different platforms to track training and certification needs.
