Mariani Enterprises, LLC is hosting an Open Interview event for full-time Crew Leaders in Training and Crew Leaders with experience in our Maintenance and Specialties Department. This role offers the opportunity for personal and professional growth and the chance to work on hands-on and outdoor projects.

POSITION SUMMARY: Supervise and lead Crew Members offsite by following standard Mariani work methods and practicing safe work habits to ensure production of the crew is as efficient and safe as possible. Support individual Crew Members and Crew Leaders-in-Training to effectively and efficiently perform the functions of their jobs to increase production and maintain client satisfaction on all levels. Typical crew size is 3-4 Crew Members.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

This is full-time year-round employment, during the winter we do snow removal, training, and complete maintenance projects.

• Lead a team of landscapers to execute maintenance projects according to specifications.

• Train and mentor team members to improve their skills and efficiency.

• Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition.

• Implement safety practices and procedures on job sites.

• Plantings including pots, annuals.

• Shape and prune shrubs, bushes, and trees.

• Apply fertilizer and pesticides as needed.

• Perform seeding, sodding, and hydro-mulching tasks.

• Conduct spring and fall cleanups.

• Holiday installations.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS COMPENSATION:

• A minimum of one year landscape Crew Leader experience ensuring client satisfaction with quality outcomes.

• Knowledge of various plants, trees, and landscaping techniques.

• Previous experience in a leadership role is preferred.

• Proven experience in landscaping or a related field.

• Experience in landscape maintenance specialty and holiday install.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to balance accountability with inspiration to delight our clients.

• Ability to interpret project plans and specifications.

• Commitment to safety and process improvement.

• A degree or courses in horticulture is a plus.

• Valid driver's license with responsible driving record.

• Physical stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

COMPENSATION:

• Compensation for this hourly position is based on experience.
