The Subject Matter Expert (SME) provides the technical support and verifies accuracy of subject matter incorporated into subject training materials. This technical support may include gathering and validation of Airborne Communications Technician (ACT) Technical Data, providing mission insight, assisting with formulation of examination questions, and validation of the developed training materials. This position also provides subject matter expertise and capability to revise and maintain previously delivered training systems, including interactive courseware.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Training and Experience: Must possess extensive knowledge of applicable weapons system to include operational performance capabilities and a complete understanding of security classification and mission sensitivity issues. Must possess a minimum of two (2) years’ experience in the operation of applicable weapons system within the last seven (7) years, or possess a minimum of two (2) years’ experience working on revision and maintenance of applicable weapons system training program within the last five (5) years.
General Skills: Must possess excellent communication and writing skills. Must possess knowledge and skills necessary to verify that all information provided is handled, marked, and delivered IAW the requirements applicable to the classification level.
Computer Skills: MS Office products.
Security Clearance: Secret Clearance required. Ability to obtain/maintain Top Secret/SCI with access to Special Access Programs (SAP).
