Flight Inspector (Jet) inspects aircraft, aircraft systems, equipment, and parts to ensure safe flying and conformance to specifications and government regulations and procedures. Oversees part installation and inspects adjustments or modifications to existing parts. Being a Flight Inspector (Jet) performs preflight and post flight inspections identifying any breach of standards for safe flight. Requires a high school diploma, a flight inspector license. Additionally, Flight Inspector (Jet) typically reports to the Chief Flight Inspector. The Flight Inspector (Jet) independently performs a wide range of complex duties under general guidance from supervisors. Role and Responsibilities:
· Read and Understand basic blueprints and shop drawings
· Must be able to use basic measuring tools including, tape measure, and digital calipers.
· Operate and Load material on Water-Jet for production (verify material)
· Set up work orders on Water-Jet and (verify material) per work order.
· Must have basic computer knowledge (Load Job Files onto Water-Jet)
· Inspect parts for quality and defects, take corrective action if needed.
· Operate Fork Truck
· Load and offload the cutting table of scrap and finished parts.
· Meet quality and production targets and assist with other machine shop duties as needed.
· Able to lift 75 lbs of weight on a frequent basis.
· Keep work area clean and organized including washing machine down, sweeping and keeping the work area organized.
· Daily maintenance includes checking consumables, rebuild parts of the machine, cleaning and checking filters on the machine.
Qualifications and Education Experience
· High School Diploma or Equivalent
· Need to have basic computer operation experience.
· Valid Driver’s License

· Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively as part of a team. (Team Player)
· 1-3 years Machine Shop Experience (Preferred) 1-3 years of Water-Jet /Torch or Plasma Cutting Experience (Preferred)

· Ability to work safely and professionally
· Conduct themselves in a professional manner
· Must pass pre-employment background and drug screening
