Flight Inspector (Jet) inspects aircraft, aircraft systems, equipment, and parts to ensure safe flying and conformance to specifications and government regulations and procedures. Oversees part installation and inspects adjustments or modifications to existing parts. Being a Flight Inspector (Jet) performs preflight and post flight inspections identifying any breach of standards for safe flight. Requires a high school diploma, a flight inspector license. Additionally, Flight Inspector (Jet) typically reports to the Chief Flight Inspector. The Flight Inspector (Jet) independently performs a wide range of complex duties under general guidance from supervisors.     Job Summary:
    The First Officer is charged with maintaining proficiency and competence as a required crewmember on the assigned aircraft; ensuring that all flights are conducted in accordance with established company policies and the Federal Aviation Regulations. Additionally, the First Officer will support the Captain in all flight duties and provide service and support to all passengers and clients.
    Core Schedule:
    • Variable - 8 Hard Days Off - per Month
    Day in the Life:
    • Conducts aircraft operations and related job assignments in accordance with policies established in the Flight Operations Manual and Company Manuals.
    • Ensures compliance with flight/duty-time limitations and rest periods in accordance with established policies.
    • Assists the Captain, as requested, in the performance of flight-related assignments.
    • Fosters and maintains outstanding Jet Access Aviation, LLC/Client business relationships through friendly and efficient response to their travel needs.
    • Other responsibilities and duties as assigned
    Must haves:
    • 1000 Hours Total Flying Time
    • 500 Hours Pilot-In-Command (PIC) Total Time
    • Commercial Multi/IFR
    • 2nd Class Medical
    What will make you successful:
    • Maintain current 2nd class medical renewed every twelve (12) months. 1st class Medical strongly preferred.
    • Must have completed initial or recurrent training phases in the preceding 12 months.
    • ATP Certification preferred
    • Working knowledge of all Federal Aviation Regulations applicable to FAR Part 135, and Part 91.
    • Thorough knowledge of FAA, ICAO, & other international flight operations regulations.
    • Strong organizational skills & advanced multi-tasking abilities.
    • Strong interpersonal, verbal/written and presentation skills are necessary to perform job at the expected level.
    • Computer skills necessary to operate word processing, email and web-based and/or mobile device applications.
    • Must possess a passionate attention to detail and the ability to work in a team atmosphere.
    • Present a well-groomed appearance at all times.
    • Valid state driver’s license
    • Must successfully pass background check and drug test.
    • Ability to read and respond to E-Mail communications.
