Flight Inspector (Jet) inspects aircraft, aircraft systems, equipment, and parts to ensure safe flying and conformance to specifications and government regulations and procedures. Oversees part installation and inspects adjustments or modifications to existing parts. Being a Flight Inspector (Jet) performs preflight and post flight inspections identifying any breach of standards for safe flight. Requires a high school diploma, a flight inspector license. Additionally, Flight Inspector (Jet) typically reports to the Chief Flight Inspector. The Flight Inspector (Jet) independently performs a wide range of complex duties under general guidance from supervisors. Founded in 2002 by former Cirrus Aircraft instructors, The Flight Academy is a Platinum Cirrus Training Center that specializes in training the owners and operators of Cirrus SR20 and SR22 aircraft. We are a boutique flight school which doesn’t train in the traditional manner. Our instructors travel to teach clients throughout the United States. We provide private pilot, instrument, transition, commercial training, relocation flights, adventure trips and familiarization flights to our clients. The Flight Academy is seeking professional CFII flight instructors that have a zest for adventure and can teach our clients to master their aircraft and feel confident in a safe environment while having a little fun along the way. We are looking for an individual who has strong communication skills, attention to detail, and can quickly adapt to teach both new and returning students.
