Job Summary: Certified Flight Instructors (CFI) are responsible for instructing student pilots in flight procedures and techniques in ground school courses and flight training.

Essential Functions:

• Create and implement effective marketing and advertising strategies to attract new flight school students.
• Provide thorough customer service with students via scheduling, instruction, POS, etc.
• Conduct ground school for students via in person or virtual classroom experiences.
• Instruct students as they practice skills via simulator and/or in flight.
• Prepare/update lesson plans as needed.
• Maintain up to date administrative records for each student and the program.
• Determine student proficiency and adjust lessons as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Hold pilot certificate and instructor certificate with appropriate category and class ratings
• 500 flight hours
