Job Description

Performs patient care and treatment activities aboard a helicopter or fixed wing airplane and demonstrates clinical competencies necessary to perform patient care functions as assigned to this position.

Job Requirements:

1. Current certification as an Emergency Medical Technician - Paramedic (EMT-P) by the Texas Department of State Health Services (TDSHS), required.
2. Three (3) years of field experience on an advanced life support ambulance, required.
3. BLS, ACLS, PALS and NRP, required within 1 year of employment.
4. TPATC, ATLS or TNCC Audit, required within 2 years of employment.
5. FP-C (preferred) or CCP-C, required within 2 years of employment.
6. Maintenance of all certifications, required.

Note: Additional state licenses/certification may be required based on fixed wing services.
