Flight Navigator locates the position of an aircraft and directs its course on domestic and international flights, using navigational aids. May require an associate's degree with at least 4 years of experience in the field. Being a Flight Navigator is familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Additionally, Flight Navigator performs a variety of complicated tasks. May direct and lead the work of others. **Will be serving the Granbury and surrounding areas**
Responsibilities:
- Perform patient assessments to determine appropriate wound care treatment plans
- Provide wound care treatments and dressings according to established protocols and physician orders
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of wound healing
- Educate patients and their families on proper wound care techniques and prevention strategies
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop comprehensive care plans
- Document all patient interactions, treatments, and progress in electronic medical records
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications:
- Valid nursing license in the state of Texas
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Wound Care Nurse
- Proficient in patient assessment and wound care techniques
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred
- Knowledge of durable medical equipment (DME) used in wound care
- Familiarity with ophthalmology procedures and treatments related to wound care
- Competency in venipuncture and specimen collection processing
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Ability to provide compassionate care to senior patients with complex medical conditions
