Flight Navigator locates the position of an aircraft and directs its course on domestic and international flights, using navigational aids. May require an associate's degree with at least 4 years of experience in the field. Being a Flight Navigator is familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Additionally, Flight Navigator performs a variety of complicated tasks. May direct and lead the work of others. POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist Program Manager in the implementation of the CDC-funded Comprehensive Suicide Prevention Blueprint for Adults and Youth (CoSPLAY) program for University Health. This position will provide outreach and assist Social Worker with risk reduction activities, recruiting and engaging clients in the CoSPLAY program. Provided by the Navigator, clients, ages 10-24 years old, will be assisted with access to mental health treatment and provided additional support services including evidenced-based strategies to address suicide risk. Navigator will attend required project meetings.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
This position requires a High School education or equivalent. Two years of experience in a related field involving population of focus. Must have a driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation. Effective communication skills required. English/Spanish fluency desired.
