This position is accountable for assuming leadership in the area of coordinating and training staff and the community in certification courses associated with the American Red Cross (ARC) & American Heart Association (AHA) Guidelines. The Training Center Coordinator also monitors and evaluates the performance and effectiveness of Training Center instructors throughout the organization.
Education and Work Experience
QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES: 1. Bachelor’s Degree in health-related field 2. Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current. 3. Current ALS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current. 4. BLS Instructor status through the ARC & AHA 5. ALS Instructor status through the ARC & AHA 6. Minimum of 5 years EMS experience 7. Minimum of 2 years teaching experience preferred 8. Master’s preparation in health related or business-related field preferred 9. Must be able to travel to a variety of Prime Healthcare facilities on an as needed basis
