Awaken for Wellness began January 2012. Awaken for Wellness brings together the best in wellness.
In February 2013 we introduced SweatW orks Studio, Minnesota’s first infrared sauna studio. Infrared light therapy isdesigned to help achieve health results by helping skin, detoxification, improved sleep and mental clarity, inflammation,reduced effects from Lyme disease and much more. What started with one sauna has now grown to 4 locations with more tocome!
Our other therapy is Float Therapy. This therapy allows the client to free themselves from stimulation and sensory overload asthey float in a silent and highly concentrated Epsom salt bath. The client comes out renewed, relaxed and hopefullyAwakened! For many clients this is a meditative journey.
Recently we acquired the Salt Room in Woodbury. The Salt Room assists clients and children with all respiratory issues. Alot of our clients previously suffered from allergies, cystic fibrosis, COPD, Pneumonia, and many other respiratory concerns.
The power of Awaken for Wellness and SweatWorks Studio in one building has allowed us to market to different peopleexperiencing a wide range of symptoms. Today many clients are experiencing the benefits of our therapies for the first timeand with continuous use, seeing a healthier life!
Key duties and responsibilities:
· Execute the following roles and responsibilities in order to deliver consistently positive customer experiences, teamleadership, and drive profitable top line sales growth.
· Analyze the business and create/communicate clear action plans that optimize results
· Own Total Store Goals for the month/year
· Ensure implementation of Awaken for Wellness sales strategy and product knowledge strategies
· Ensure roles are delegated to ensure each team member feels included and takes ownership in their role at Awaken forWellness.
· Community advertising and reach out when necessary
· Social media presence including videos from the facility that can include information, education, product highlights,and specials.
· Ensure effective execution of all operational activities/tasks
· Manage controllable expenses and shrink
· Ensure each associate completes on boarding and all required training programs
· Ensure proper scheduling to optimize store payroll
· Hiring and maintaining staff that aligns with our culture and values
· Lead and maintain team communication through Slack , Weekly Team Meetings, in person
· Maintain proper cleaning schedule
· Ensure that all shifts are covered.
· Actively and continuously responsible for a portion of the shifts at the front desk
· Maintain documentation of opening and closing procedures and provide clear expectations to staff
· Continue to innovate and propose or execute ways to promote product and services
· Make appropriate changes in our scheduling software and POS system
· Manage proper petty and cash drawer / close out balances
· Maintain proper credit card authorization and privacy / security procedures
· Fix minor mechanical issues and/or communicate with facility maintenance on any in-store improvements that need tobe made.
· Continue to update and develop Employee handbook

Ability to work weekends or evenings when required
Related experience with proven results of driving a team culture and success
Established ability to produce sales training and results
Proven supervisory skills, with capacity to deliver training material and retention
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate verbally in a clear manner
Ability to operate a computer, as well as maneuver relative software programs
