Being a Floor Assembler uses hand tools and power tools to assemble units according to product specifications. Identifies units that fail tests or tolerance levels and repairs as necessary. Additionally, Floor Assembler may be required to complete an apprenticeship or on the job training. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Floor Assembler possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area.
