Floor Assembler operates and maintains stations to assemble, align, and adjust fabricated parts, components, or units according to specifications and follows established manufacturing procedures. Uses hand tools, power tools, and other manufacturing assembly line equipment to assemble units. Being an Floor Assembler tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to ensure all components meet tolerances, product specifications, and quality standards. May repair or refit parts or units that fail tests or tolerance levels. Additionally, Floor Assembler keeps daily assembly production records. Maintains a clean and organized work environment. Typically requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Floor Assembler works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Assist customers through the purchase of buying flooring from our family owned and operated business. Math is a necessity. Dress code is pants with no holes and polo shirts provided. We are open 9 to 5 Monday through Saturday. Major holidays are paid off. Employees will be responsible for helping customers select a floor, measure the job, order the floor and schedule installation.
