Floor Assembler operates and maintains stations to assemble, align, and adjust fabricated parts, components, or units according to specifications and follows established manufacturing procedures. Uses hand tools, power tools, and other manufacturing assembly line equipment to assemble units. Being an Floor Assembler tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to ensure all components meet tolerances, product specifications, and quality standards. May repair or refit parts or units that fail tests or tolerance levels. Additionally, Floor Assembler keeps daily assembly production records. Maintains a clean and organized work environment. Typically requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Floor Assembler works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Daily Workflow:
» Accurately produce parts by operating all manual and semi-automated assembly stations to achieve a minimum productivity rate.
» Perform set up activities, if trained and as required, on all manual and semi-automated work stations
» Perform quality checks, audits and inspections to ensure products are defect free.
» Data entry into business software for assembly completion, material ordering, and maintenance requests
» Follow standard work procedures and department guidelines throughout shift
We’re Seeking:
» High School Diploma or Equivalent
» Good manual dexterity
» Able to sit or stand for 8-hour shift
» Able to learn the use of a myriad of measuring instruments
» Eager to learn business operating systems
» Ability to lift/push/pull up to 35 lbs
» Detail & Team Oriented
» Able to pass background check
» Able to pass a drug test (THC ok)
Schedule:
» Monday – Friday 8 am - 4:30 pm
