Drawer Assembly Clamp Operator RRE’s

(Roles, Responsibilities, & Expectations)

Education, Training & Experience

• High School Diploma/GED equivalent Preferred.
• Wood or Metal Manufacturing Experience Preferred.
• Ability to read tape measure and understand dimensional tolerancing.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all Safety requirements (PPE, LOTO, etc.)
• Perform frequent Quality Inspections
• May operate a variety of Wood Production equipment.
• Follow set production schedule.
• Set up and adjustment of assembly equipment.
• Operation of the equipment, including loading and unloading of materials.
• Operation of a nail gun.
• Operation of hot glue equipment.
• Stacking of assembled drawers on to pallet
• Maintain production logs and all necessary paperwork

Expectations

• Meet or exceed parts per hour as required by standard run rates.
• Drawer Quality should meet or surpass customer requirements in squareness, even joints and overall appearance.
• Other tasks as assigned (machine operator) must meet criteria standard specifications in the areas of quality and output.
• Excellent attendance record.
• Comply with break and lunch times.

Physical Requirements

• Standing— 100 percent of time
• Bending –5 percent of time
• Lifting—5 to 20 lbs continuously. Lifting 30 lbs 10 to 15 times per day.
• Walking—5 percent of time.
