Essential Job Functions:
- Initiate and observe the dealers during the table banks open and close process. This includes verifying the playing cards, ensuring the shuffle machine is in working condition, and verifying the table bank paperwork is completed, signed, and submitted to the Pit Supervisor/ Shift Supervisor or locked in a table bank.

Control table bank inventory by initiating and completing fills to the table bank and credits to the table bank following all electronic and paper process provided. Communicate errors in this process to Pit or Shift Supervisor.

Initially investigate all patron disputes using available means such as: dealer information, player information, and surveillance information to resolve the dispute. Report all decisions and information to the Pit or Shift Supervisor. Prepare information reports as needed for documentation.

Maintain physical presence on casino floor to ensure all games are played within compliance regulations. Continually observe games in progress for possible irregularities in player or dealer conduct. Inform Pit or Shift Supervisor of any deviation from standard dealing procedures.
- Identify barred patrons using the table view system and immediately communicate barred persons information to the Pit/Shift Supervisor.
- Prepare and maintain the rotation form and early out list for all dealers on a daily basis. Communicate this information in written format to the incoming relief Floor Supervisor

Communicate all information about assigned pit section to the incoming relief Floor Supervisor including: table losses, tracked players, and irregular situations.
- Mentor dealers for development by continuously evaluating performance and coach in order to maximize their potential; properly assess dealer’s abilities through the use of communicating surveillance audits, IDP completion, annual performance evaluations, and ongoing training and feedback/counseling to enhance performance. Assist in training new dealers to comply with the casino’s dealing procedures and policies. Attend all mandatory training functions in order to stay current on existing leadership and gaming practices
- Enforce MICS, TICS, facility/departmental and gaming/compliance regulations, and standard operation procedures for the facility by providing ongoing training; coach and provide feedback to all dealers in order to execute functions within compliance regulations.
- Communicate employee concerns to the Pit or Shift Supervisor and participate in investigations while maintaining confidentiality; effectively resolve all minor concerns or complaints. Immediately report any suspicious activity or breach of title 31 compliance to Pit or Shift Supervisor

Assume the Pit Supervisor role in the absence of the Pit Supervisor. This includes: all Pit paperwork is accurately completed and submitted, direct the opening and closing of tables, and report any concerns to the Pit or Shift Supervisor upon their return. Assume dealer role when needed due to staffing or unexpected increase in business.

Also, it is the responsibility of those who supervise, manage or otherwise lead employees (or teams) to ensure that each employee receives all required training.

Minimum Qualifications
Education:
§ High School Diploma or GED
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Must be able to read, understand, apply, and retain knowledge of departmental rules, regulations, and policies.
- Must possess the ability to handle/count large amounts of cash utilizing currency and coin counters, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.

Proficiency with 10-key adding machine may be required in order to perform assigned job duties correctly.
§ Ability to assist customers by enhancing their entertainment experience.
§ Must be friendly with an outgoing personality.
§ Must be able to follow all instructions, written and oral.
Training and Experience:

One year Blackjack Dealer experience, required.

CNDC certification in all games dealt at property, required.
Licenses/Certifications/Other:
§ Must be able to pass background check and receive a gaming license from the Chickasaw Nation Office of the Gaming Commission as required to work in gaming operations.
§ Must be able to complete pre-employment drug test with a negative result.
Physical Requirements:

Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time. Requires grasping, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.

May be required to lift up to fifty (50) pounds.

Possess good manual dexterity, and hand/eye coordination, but these requirements are based on needs of facility and staffing.
