Floor Assembly Supervisor supervises a manufacturing production line that assembles fabricated parts. Creates daily work schedules, follows standard manufacturing procedures, and monitors work to meet product specifications and production targets. Being an Floor Assembly Supervisor resolves production problems and answers workers' questions about processes, methods, or equipment. Delivers training for new processes or equipment and onboard new employees. Additionally, Floor Assembly Supervisor conducts quality testing on completed assemblies to validate tolerances and product specifications. Reviews daily assembly production records to identify trends or potential performance issues. Typically requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a manager. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members.     You will lead an elite team that ensures all assembly aspects are met on complex micro-integrated circuit modules or microwave/RF integrated circuit modules and sub-assembly. You will lead the manufacturing operations of the Microelectronics assembly team while, also, contributing to individual output.

    **In this role, you will be responsible to:**

    • Lead a team of microelectronic assemblers; manage workflow and work assignments. This includes, but is not limited to, component mount, wire bonding, ribbon bonding, bond pull
    • Manage employee performance, including performance reviews and performance discussions
    • Sets goals and objectives for team members for achievement of operational results
    • Continuously meet/exceed production schedules and deadlines according to quality standards
    • Ensure that team delivers high quality team output
    • Ensure production schedules are met to meet customer needs and completion of all paperwork entries are timely and accurate
    • Develops schedules and resource requirements for assigned areas
    • Recruit, develop, retain, and maintain a high-quality team
    • Train new employees and coach current employees
    • Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules, recommend measures to improve production methods
    • Resolve daily work issues
    • Will also work as a Micro assembler, working from schematics and drawings
    • May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specification
    • Ensure timecards are signed off per company policy

    Required Qualifications:

    • High School Degree or equivalent
    • 7 years of microelectronics assembly skills
    • Prior experience leading or managing others
    • Knowledge of ESD (Electrostatic discharge) procedures
    • Demonstrated ability to meet quality and quantity production requirements
    • Experience using Microsoft Office

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience using ERP/MRP systems, e.g.,Factory Logic
    • Aerospace and Defense industry experience
    • Ability to multi-task
    • Ability to read assembly drawings
    • Ability to read and write in English as well as basic arithmetic skills
    • Effective communications skills in both individual and group settings
    • Ability to develop talent
    • Proven ability to partner with operations-related teams: technician, quality, materials
    • Strong organizational and time management skills
    • Must be detailed oriented
    • Effectively learn and stay up to date on product configurations and best practices
