Prepares work schedules, assigns work, and oversees the work product. Being a Floor Assembly Supervisor ensures conformance to established procedures and product quality levels. Identifies units that fail tests or tolerance levels and supervise repairs as necessary. Additionally, Floor Assembly Supervisor may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. May require completion of an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members.
