POSITION TITLE: Floor Supervisor
DEPARTMENT: Gaming Floor
REPORTS TO: Gaming Manager
SUMMARY:
Responsible for the day to day activities of the gaming area and ensures that these areas operate in accordance with Grand River Casino policies and procedures and MIC.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Floor Supervisor possesses the knowledge of all job duties of the Cage Supervisor, and Cashiers, Slot technicians, floor service representatives, and table games dealers and pit bosses. He/ she must have the knowledge and ability to assist in all areas of the casino, and lodge and restaurant if needed. In the absence of a department director or supervisor, the floor supervisor has the responsibility of making business decisions; ensuring employees are in the proper uniform, presentable and professional when dealing with the public, guaranteeing a high level of customer service; and addressing business concerns with customers, employees, directors, gaming manager, and general manager. The floor supervisor performs any other duties assigned by the gaming manager. Employee shall comply with all BSA/AML regulations, reporting, and training requirements – Specifically those in the Grand River Casino Written System of Internal Controls (and appendices) for BSA/AML Compliance.
PREREQUISITES: Must be 21 years of age or older. Must qualify for a Standing Rock Sioux Tribal “Key” license. Must have 20/20 corrected vision and not be color blind. Must have basic computer skills.
EDUCATION: High school graduate or GED.
EXPERIENCE: One year supervisory experience and two years experience in the gaming industry preferred. Must be able to administer professional communication skills with internal and external guests and ensure confidentiality.
PHYSICAL: Must be physically able to withstand (for long periods) continued walking, standing, kneeling, and lifting for periods of 8 hours or more and lift 60 pounds or more.
Bending, pushing/pulling a heavy cart. Grasping, hand and finger dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and color acuity.
