Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Wood Flooring Installer to join our team. As a Wood Flooring Installer, you will be responsible for installing various types of flooring materials according to specifications. This is a hands-on role that requires no experience for helper roles and good experience for journeyman roles. Responsibilities:
- Install, sand and finish gymnasium floors, including stain and graphics
- Measure and cut flooring materials to fit specific areas
- Prepare subfloors by removing existing flooring and ensuring a smooth surface
- Lay out flooring patterns and designs according to blueprints or customer preferences
- Use hand tools and power tools to install flooring materials
- Inspect completed work for quality and accuracy
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any concerns or questions

Requirements:
- Proven experience in flooring installation for a Journeyman role
- Ability to read blueprints and construction plans is helpful
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job, including lifting heavy materials and standing for long periods of time
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.50 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 50 per week
