Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
The Broker Support Representative provides a variety of support to Brokers assisting with all questions they may have.
Performs customer service functions by answering broker requests and questions by telephone, email, chat, or occasionally in person.
Provides support both pre- and post-sale.
Assists with quotes for new and renewing cases.
Assists with the claim process.
Assists to resolve billing issues.
Keep personal queue, personal email, work center queue, and pending current.
May be asked to assist with other tasks when necessary.
Education and / or Work Experience Requirements :
NJ Life & Health License preferred, but not required.
Must complete 24 Continuing Education Credits every 2 years if licensed.
Clear verbal and written communication skills.
Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Physical Requirements :
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and / or quantitative productivity standards.
Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards.
Stand or sit - must be able to remain in a stationary position 75%.
Walk - the person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access office machinery, etc.
Work Environment : Remote work is required. Access to stable internet and appropriate workspace will be required.
