Field Operations Manager-

ICON Floor Prep is currently seeking a full-time project manager for our floor prep and coatings division. This is a skilled position and previous experience with project management through a sub or prime contractor is required for this position. Experience with flooring preparation will be considered over all other applicable experience.

At ICON Floor Prep, our field operations manager is the conduit between sales, office operations, our customers, and all our hard-working crews in the field. This position requires strong interpersonal communication skills, and a unique blend of flexibility and chess-like planning to move human and mechanical assets between jobs and complete them to customer expectations.

This position is fast-paced, and ICON is looking for someone who will communicate needs and bring suggestions to improve our work in the field, as well as the support needed from sales and operations to do so. At ICON, we believe our skilled and unskilled labor deserve nothing less.

This position is responsible for:

• Management of human assets in the field
• Forecasting and procurement as needed of mechanical assets
• Management and development of safety and training programs
• Quality control
• Job scheduling and communication

Required skills:

• Valid driver’s license
• Project management experience of at least 5 years, or applicable degree and equivalent experience in the construction industry
• Effective communication through e-mail, phone and in person
• The ability to adapt and plan as business needs change
• Familiarity with basic office programs and online tools

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
