Being a Floorman may be required to work the derrick or operate the rig if needed. May require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, Floorman typically reports to a supervisor. The Floorman possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area.
