We are looking for a passionate pastor who can server God and the HM congregation by teaching, preaching, providing pastoral care, and can be able to effectively communicate in both English and Hispanic.

For more detail on the job, please refer to the below job description.

    General Remarks

The responsibilities of the lead pastors at the Church of All Nations, a multi-cultural, multi-ethnic, multi-lingual, and multi-congregational church with four language-specific ministries—English Ministry (EM), Korean Ministry (KM), Hispanic Ministry (HM), and African Ministry (AM)—are derived from the authority given in ordination. The lead pastors are authorized to preach and teach the Word, provide pastoral care and counsel, administer the sacraments, and order the church's life for service in mission and ministry. They have a fourfold ministry of Word, Sacrament, Order, and Service and thus serve in the local church in witness and service of Christ’s love and justice.

    (1) Attend all scheduled lead pastors and staff meetings to tend to all church matters.

    (2) Consult Church Council on plans and policies.

    (a) Work with the respective worship team (including the worship pastor and the pianist, if applicable) to foster a vibrant weekly worship experience.

    (b) Preach at least 45 sermons annually, ensure the proper advance scheduling of guest preachers when needed, and notify the PPRC of any changes.

    (c) Plan and participate in occasional multi-lingual ministry events in partnership with the other ministries.

    (c) Pray for the respective ministry members and, if needed, the members of the other ministries.

    (3) Perform the ecclesial acts of marriage and burial. The marriage ceremony requires due counseling with the parties involved and by the state’s laws and the church’s rules. Also, conduct funeral and memorial services and provide care and grief counseling. The decision to perform the ceremony shall be the right and responsibility of the pastor.

    (4) Visit the homes of the church members and the community, especially among the sick, aged, imprisoned, and others in need.
