    Part Time at Allegan Event     
    Join our fun environment by serving food and beverage at our snack counter inside Allegan Event. Our family adventure center offers hand tossed pizzas and Turbochef ovens to cook all the food product. We also have a full bar so food and beverage experience is a plus.

     

    Basic Function and Responsibilities:

    • Ability to provide excellent guest service
      • Greet guests at the register
      • Take orders
      • Run orders to Patio
    • Proper cash handling 
      • Cash drawer opening and closing responsibilities
      • Debit and credit card payments
    • Prepare menu precooked items such as hot dogs, chicken tenders As well as ice cream dishes, and fountain sodas; using standard formulas or following directions.
    • Scrub and polish counters and other equipment, clean dishes and fountain equipment
    • Stock and restock items as necessary
    • Insure all sanitation procedures are followed relating to all local licensing regulations

    Basic Requirements/Qualifications:

    • Must be 17 years of age or older
    • Prior food and bar experience preferred including POS systems
    • Must utilize excellent guest service skills
    • Must be able to multitask and be self-motivated
    • Must be able to communicate clearly
    • Possesses excellent cash handling skills 
    • Adherence to a uniform policy and grooming standards -must present a neat, professional appearance
    • Must satisfactorily fulfill all departmental training requirements
    • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
    • Standing, stooping, and bending for long periods of time
    • Must be willing to work a flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends, holidays and special events
