Food Services Director - Healthcare directs and oversees food service for patients, employees, and visitors in a healthcare environment. Develops, manages, and maintains food service policies and procedures in accordance with administrative directives and professional standards. Being a Food Services Director - Healthcare develops menus and oversees the handling, preparation, and storage of food. Oversees equipment maintenance, record keeping and all sanitation activities.     Shift Details: 1030-7pm &1045-715pm every other weekend and rotating holidays

    Provides routine support services such as preparing patient trays, assisting with food preparation, replenishing supplies, washing dishes, and operating equipment in the cafeteria such as the cash register, cash handling, and/or patient tray service areas.  Maintains proper sanitation of food service areas and equipment and adheres to stringent food handling procedures.

     

    Performs assigned routine food service tasks in a specific area under close supervision to meet food service demands.

    • Prepares patient trays
    • Assists with food preparation
    • Replenishes supplies
    • Washes dishes and equipment
    • Serves food

     

    Qualifications

     

    Minimum Requirements

    • Education: None
    • Experience:None
    • Licensure, Certification, Registration: None
    • Language Skills: Must be able to read, write and speak English

    Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements  
    •    Basic math skills
    •    Wears appropriate shoes and PPE (gloves) in all food service areas to avoid injury
