FOOD SERVICE DIRECTOR ASSISTANT
REPORTS TO: Food Service Director

UNIVERSAL OBLIGATIONS/EXPECTATIONS OF EACH STAFF MEMBER
It is the expectation of the District that each staff member will: (1) put the safety, health and well-being of students at the forefront of all actions, job responsibilities and decisions, and (2) undertake all duties in alignment with the District’s Strategic Plan.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Assists in the daily operation of the District’s food services program with team members
Take a Safe Serv course and certification in the areas of food preparation and sanitation.
Assists food services director in prepping food for salad bar along with setting up salad bar and soup station daily
during lunch service.
Taking down the salad bar ensures the food product is clearly labeled and dated when placed into the cooler.
Cleaning duties include cleaning salad bar after lunch service, clean front kitchen after lunch service and assists with
putting away clean dishes from the dish pit and daily laundry of towels and aprons.
Attend periodic meetings with food service personnel..
Serve Soup and Yogurt to students during lunch.
Complete daily production sheets
Attend any other relevant trainings

This position may require the employee to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
