Looking to further your career? Independent Rebuild Specialist has been in business for 21 years and counting. We specialize in remanufacturing Caterpillar diesel engines. We are located in Brighton, Colorado.

We are seeking candidates for a full-time position as a Welder Fabricator.

This role will require candidates that enjoy all aspects of welding and have the capability to perform independently.

This position requires strict attention to detail.

Responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to:

• Perform visual weld inspection before, during, and after each welding operation.
• Know and follow safety procedures as required in a specific operation. Identify safety concerns and takes appropriate action.
• Demonstrate excellent attendance, safety, housekeeping, and general work habits.
• Fabricate engine stands, skids, and various builds required by other departments.
• Perform preventative maintenance on, and ensures calibration of, equipment, tools, and fixtures, as required.
• Uses safe working practices and follows all company safety requirements.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Requirements:

• Use various equipment including TIG, MIG, plasma cutter, torches, and other equipment provided in the welding shop.
• Forklift experience and capable of passing forklift test upon hire.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work independently with little or no direction.
• Abides by, promotes, and acknowledges all safety practices in keeping with high safety standards.
• Knowledge of machines used.
• Must be able to utilize measuring tools and self-inspect completed work.
• Ability to fabricate without blueprints.

Preferred:

• Graduation from an accredited technical school specializing in welding is preferred.

PAY FREQUENCY:

• Weekly (every Friday) – Direct Deposit

HOURS PER WEEK:

• More than 40 (preferred)
