Available Full-Time & Part-Time Shifts :

Part-Time Days : Friday, Saturday, & Sunday (5 : 00 am 1 : 30 pm)

Part-Time Evenings : Friday, Saturday, & Sunday (11 : 00 am - 7 : 30 pm)

Full-Time Evenings :

Saturday - Wednesday AND Sunday - Thursday (11 : 00 am - 7 : 30 pm)

Essential Functions of Dietary Aide :

• Prepare food trays for general and therapeutic diets.
• Prepare and deliver items as requested by resident care units or residents.
• Maintain tray line in a clean, neat, and organized manner.
• Prepare special diet foods as necessary.
• Deliver food carts to patient care units. Return carts to kitchen at designated times.
• Load and oversee dishwashers and log and record wash / rinse temperatures.
• Wash specified items by hand. Example Pots, pans, knives.
• Dispose of trash and garbage in appropriate manner.
• Put clean dishes and utensils away
• Mop floors as scheduled and as necessary.
• Clean walk-in refrigerators and storage areas. Maintain dry storage areas by logging temperatures daily and handling the unpacking, dating, and rotating of food and non-food supplies.
• Assist in preparing salads, desserts, and other nourishments.
• Performs special cleaning duties as assigned by the Dietary Supervisor
• Maintain good working relationship within the department and with other departments.
• Treat residents and guest with respect and dignity.
• Always observe infection prevention and control practices.
• Participate in departmental performance improvement activities.
• Perform all aspects of resident care in an environment that optimizes resident safety and reduces the likelihood of medical / health care errors.
• Perform other task and duties as assigned.

Qualifications of Dietary Aide :

• High School Diploma or general equivalency is preferred
• 1 year of experience is preferred
• Candidates must maintain a working email address and phone number for employer communication.
• Ability to read, write and speak the English Language

• Good communication skills
