Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Leasing Agent. As a Leasing Agent, you will be responsible for assisting prospective tenants with finding and leasing properties. Your excellent communication and negotiation skills will be essential in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring tenant satisfaction.
Duties:
- Conduct property tours for potential tenants and provide detailed information about the property features, amenities, and leasing terms
- Respond to inquiries from prospective tenants via phone, email, or in-person and provide accurate and timely information
- Assist with the application process, including collecting required documents, conducting background checks, and verifying income
- Coordinate move-in and move-out processes, including conducting inspections and documenting any damages or repairs needed
- Utilize customer relationship management (CRM) software to track leads, follow up with prospects, and maintain tenant records
- Upsell additional services or amenities to prospective tenants to maximize revenue opportunities
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in property leasing or sales is preferred but not required
- Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable lease terms for both the tenant and the property owner
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with tenants, property owners, and colleagues
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Please note that this is a paid position. Compensation will be discussed during the interview process. There could be additional compensation based on performance.
No pre-experience is required for this position. This is a part time opening with 20-25 hours/ week including 6 hours on Saturday. If you have a primary job or a student and would consider working for 1-2 hours in the evening and on Saturdays then this could be good option for you to make additional money.
