As a forester with Acorn, you will be responsible for the quality, efficiency, and profitability of a wide range of silviculture and forest management activities. You will be expected to plan, supervise, and execute forest management activities, including property inspections with landowners, creating timber management plans, activity layout and logistics, supervision of field personnel, safety, and completion of project documentation.
Work Environment:
This is primarily a field position. Field activities may be physically demanding and are often conducted in harsh environmental conditions including temperature extremes, smoke, dust, swamps, insects, snakes, rough topography, and brush.
