Pay Rate:

$19.90/hour

Shift Premium: $.95/hour

Perfect Attendance Bonus: $.75/hour

Responsibilities

• Observe and demonstrate Knauf’s safety principles at all times
• Start machine and observe operation to detect malfunctions of machine
• Stop machine and report any malfunctions to a Supervisor
• Make minor adjustments or repairs such as re-thread banding, clears away damaged products
• Inspect fiberglass insulation to ensure that product is packaged according to specifications. Advise Cold End Coordinator and Shift Manager of any problems
• Feed product to various packaging equipment while maintaining maximum productivity and maximum quality
• Replenish packaging supplies such as over-wrap paper, bags, film glue, ink or labels while maintaining a clean, neat and orderly workspace
• Mount supplies on spindles or places supplies in hopper or other feeding device
• Count and positions fiberglass in machines and starts the cycle
• Perform any other duties that may be assigned

Qualifications

Education:

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience required

Experience:

• Minimum of three (3) months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and industrial experience
