Position: Leak Detection Specialist

Pay: Hourly During Training. Once fully trained then Performance Pay with a range of $80,000 - $110,000

Location: Punta Gorda, FL

Hours:

Full-Time

Monday - Friday

The normal daily schedule is between 8 - 10 hours

Occasional Saturday's

Qualifications include:

• Relevant Work Experience: 1 to 2 years
• Valid driver's license
• Good DMV report
• Must be capable of moving or lifting to 100 pounds.
• Experience using power tools.
• Experience using Service Titan
• Good writing & verbal communication skills.
• Ability to swim, (diving certificate a plus)
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
• Bilingual - English/Spanish helpful, but not mandatory
• Has knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
• Education Level: High School or equivalent
• Mechanically inclined
• Comfortable with learning and using new technology
• Enjoy working outside, in a variety of conditions, and not sitting in a cube or office every day
• Appreciate working a flexible schedule, night shifts or weekends as our customers might need

Summary:

American Leak Detection of Southwest Florida is seeking out highly motivated individuals looking for a full-time career as a Leak Detection Specialist to perform electronic water leak detections and plumbing repairs.

Provide leak detection and line locating services to clients as part of a fast-growing National company. We're Looking for a mechanically oriented and highly motivated person to perform electronic leak detections and plumbing-related repairs. Must be able to use mechanical tools, have an excellent driving record, good writing and communication skills, with a minimum of a high school education. Come work for an established company that's been in business since 1974.

Job Responsibilities:

• Leak Detection on residential, commercial & municipal plumbing and drain systems to diagnose the cause and origin of leaks in those systems and perform a full scope of repairs on those systems
• Leak detection on residential, commercial, and municipal pools/spas to diagnose the cause and origin of leaks, and structural leaks and perform full scope pool and spa repairs.
• Communicate and work with management, colleagues, and customers.
• Provide professional and courteous customer service.
• Work outdoors & away from the office.
• Ability to create well-written and concise reports, with pictures, to effectively describe the leak issue.
