Fraud Investigation Manager manages the operations of the fraud investigations department. Develops policies and procedures to prevent fraud activities and to recover any incurred losses. Physical Demands: Work requires considerable physical exertion such as walking, standing, stooping, reaching and the recurrent lifting of packages and/or objects of weight more than 50 pounds. Work entails long hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
Work Environment: Work is performed within the office setting or actual crime scenes. May be placed in a hazardous situation when handling potentially dangerous materials, such as explosive, poisonous, corrosive, highly combustible, and contaminated with infectious materials that require various safety precautions, such as protective clothing and equipment such as safety glasses, gloves and masks. Is required to travel away from office for extended periods of time, and may work out in inclement weather.

Specialized Experience (SE):

Education
All degrees must be from an accredited college or university. Education may be substituted for specialized experience as follows:
GS 7: Applicant must have a bachelor’s degree with superior academic achievement or one (1) full year of graduate level education. Superior academic achievement is the completion of all the requirements of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, which is based on (1) class standing, (2) grade-point average of 3.0 or higher as recorded on an official transcript, or as based on courses completed during the final two years of the curriculum, or (3) honor society membership.
GS 8: Education may not be substituted for specialized experience at this grade level.
GS 9: Education may not be substituted for specialized experience at this grade level.
