We are currently seeking an Intake/Investigator to join the growing investigative team of a busy Inner Loop personal injury law firm with a strong commitment to client relations, client satisfaction, and the total client experience. Our team of senior licensed investigators work closely as a team to provide support to the intake, pre-litigation, and litigation departments.

    This position requires some local-area travel to visit incident scenes, tow yards, homes, and businesses for the purpose of documentation, witness interviews, and evidence collection. Some of these tasks may occur on weekends or after hours.

     

    Responsibilities / Duties Include:

    • Provide investigative support to the intake and prelitigation departments.
    • Analyze police reports and 911 calls and report on findings.
    • Conduct background, asset, and social media investigations.
    • Identify witnesses and collect statements.
    • Identify, review and collect video evidence.
    • Document incident scenes through photographs, measurements, and diagrams.
    • Write detailed investigation reports.
    • Review investigation reports with departments manager and attorneys.

     

    Requirements and Qualifications

    • Must have a valid driver’s license.
    • Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
    • Familiarity with Microsoft Office products (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.).
    • Experience in a legal setting (intake, legal assistant, etc.), personal injury preferred.
    • Be punctual, dependable, and reliable.
    • Ability to handle multiple projects at once and prioritize them.
    • Meet deadlines and stay organized.
    • Problem solving skills.
    • Absolute attention to detail.
    • Excellent customer service and communication skills.

     

    This position involves a 90-day performance evaluation period, after which employee would qualify for paid time-off. Our office hours are flexible between 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and we are looking for someone who can work a full 8-hour shift during those times. There may be an occasional weekend or after-hours assignments. Pay and benefits negotiable. Our firm offers a very competitive and comprehensive benefit package.
