Fraud Prevention Manager manages a team of analysts responsible for the detection, prevention, and mitigation of fraudulent transactions. Develops cross-functional initiatives to proactively detect and prevent fraud from occurring. Being a Fraud Prevention Manager approves and implements recommendations for process and procedure improvements. Reviews and implements best practices in the fraud prevention industry. Additionally, Fraud Prevention Manager ensures compliance with all relevant anti-fraud regulations and standards. Creates reports outlining trends, risks, and mitigation strategies. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Fraud Prevention Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Fraud Prevention Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Responsibilities:
- Provide daily care and attention to animals in a kennel or shelter environment
- Feed, water, and exercise animals according to their individual needs
- Clean and sanitize animal enclosures, including cages, kennels, and play areas
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinary staff
- Monitor the health and behavior of animals and report any concerns to supervisors
- Assist with grooming tasks such as bathing, brushing, and nail trimming
- Provide basic training and socialization for dogs
- Handle animals safely and with compassion during interactions and procedures
- Assist with animal restraint during veterinary examinations or procedures
Experience:
- Previous experience working with animals in a professional setting, such as a kennel, shelter, or veterinary clinic
- Knowledge of animal care best practices and basic medical procedures
- Familiarity with various animal breeds and behaviors
- Ability to handle heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks
- Veterinary technician or assistant experience is a plus
