We are looking for a highly motivated, hard-working and change orientated person who is wanting to start their career path by joining our team as a
Loss Prevention Field Specialist.The purpose of this position is to support our retail Store, District and Zone Leaders in their Loss Prevention needs as a coworker who is in the field visiting multiple stores as well as support the Loss Prevention Office Team in field training.
This position additionally will assist Inventory Auditors, Retail and Loss prevention with identifying high shrink loss and support with investigation.
Regular tasks include : Provide shoplifting prevention training to store.Work with stores on high shrink areas and perform spot counts on these items.
Assist stores to use and apply Inventory Action Plans.Assist stores on cash recyclers and cash research activities.Assist stores in proper cash handling procedures.
Follow up with stores post robbery.Assist District Leader with completing Security checklists.Work with District Leader, Zone Leader and Merchandising on placement of high theft items.
Assist in contacting local law enforcement to build relationships and cases on shoplifting suspects.Inspect and audit cameras so they are capturing shoplifting incidents and coworker / guest injuries.
Conduct Shrink Training for all shifts of coworkers, with concentration on 3rd shift.Assist in internal theft interviews.
Sometimes conduct own internal theft interviews for lesser value claims.Qualifications : Maintaining a high level of confidentiality is a must.
Exposure to internal / external theft investigations.Ability to operate CCTV hardware and software.Ability to communicate with individuals at all levels within the organization and out.
Excellent typing and 10 key punch skills; strong written and verbal communication skills.Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.Capable of being productive with minimal supervision.
Self-motivated in learning new skills.Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.Retail or Customer Service experience is a plus.
