Fraud Prevention Supervisor supervises fraud detection associates in their effort to identify and prevent future fraud. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Fraud Prevention Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be a Fraud Prevention Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.     Substitutions: A bachelor’s degree may substitute for four years of specialized experience; a master’s degree may substitute for five years of specialized experience; or a Ph.D. may substitute for six years of specialized experience.

    Preferred Experience:
    • Two years of experience in communications or a related field preferred.
    Duties Description
    Under the general supervision of the Director of the Bureau of External Affairs, the incumbent is responsible for overseeing all agency communications efforts including oversight of social media, publications, public awareness campaigns, and the agency website and the supervision and skill development of corresponding technical staff. Duties include but are not limited to:
    • Oversee and assist with the development of all public facing communications materials including the production of large-scale public awareness campaigns and social media postings, the creation of publication and print materials, and the drafting of press releases and presentations.
    • Develop press releases, presentations, speeches, and other related announcements.
    • Explore opportunities for agency tabling and outreach to new and diverse audiences.
    • Assist the Training Coordinator to ensure consistent and updated agency messaging in all trainings and presentations.
    • Research and maintain current knowledge on concepts and work in gender-based violence.
    • Develop and maintain the agency website and presence on relevant social media platforms.
    • Collaborate with Bureau Directors on the development of public awareness campaigns for new audiences.
    • Explore and implement widespread prevention efforts on behalf of the agency.
    • Perform the full range of supervisory duties.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.
