Duties
We are seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Agent to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring guest satisfaction. MUST BE ABLE TO WORK WEEKENDS. PREVIOUS HOTEL EXPERIENCE PREFERRED.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests and provide them with a warm welcome
- Check guests in and out of the hotel
- Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries
- Assist guests with reservations and provide information about hotel amenities
- Handle guest complaints or concerns in a timely and efficient manner
- Process payments and maintain accurate records
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in using hotel management software systems
- Knowledge of phone systems and ability to handle multiple phone lines
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Multilingual abilities are a plus, especially if you can speak languages commonly spoken by our guests
- Familiarity with front desk operations in the hospitality industry
- Ability to handle difficult situations with patience and professionalism
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have a passion for hospitality and a desire to provide exceptional service to our guests. Additionally, the following requirements are necessary:
- Previous experience working at the front desk of a hotel or similar establishment is preferred
- Knowledge of night audit procedures is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent required
